A message from Carol Larroque, immediate past-President of the New Mexico Chapter.
Dear Friends,
Congratulations to our new president, Cleophas, and our new vice president, Marcella! Many, many thanks to Linney, Andre and Bob for continuing in your leadership roles. And of course, a very special thank you to Susan, Lucy, Colston and George for your continued work and support on our board! We will have 2 new board members, Jenna Marie Armijo Kloeppel and John Phillips, to welcome at our next board meeting on July 9.
As you might have noticed, no one really voted in this election which was run by the National Fulbright Association. When I asked Christine Oswald when we would vote she told me that since we had enough open positions we could just accept those who were nominated unless we had concerns about someone.
I look forward to seeing you in July and I look forward to a wonderful year for our chapter this coming year.
