From Carol Larroque, Chapter President–Prior to an event with a speaker and refreshments, we will hold a brief board meeting. During the board meeting (which is open to all members) we will make plans for the coming year. It would be great to hear your ideas about events, collaborations and service that we might consider. We will have until January 31st to apply to our National Association for grants for the following term. I will forward to you the email from National Fulbright regarding grant applications including their priorities. We are hoping to develop a closer relationship with Fulbrighters from NMSU as we welcome them to our chapter events.
