I want to share some good news with you: Chef Mhlelusizo Ncube is speaking about “Revolutionizing African Food” at Santa Fe Community College on Tuesday, May 7 beginning at 6 pm.
Chef Ncube has 17 years of exquisite fine dining experience with Renowned Hotels and Lodges, Victoria Falls Safari Lodges, Asara Wine Estate & Hotel, Singita Pamushana (Zimbabwe), Singita Lodges (South Africa), Royal Caribbean International (Independence of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas) sailing the Caribbean Islands, Europe ,America, and Israel.
She has a strong passion for Indigenous African Foods with the use of moringa currently in her dishes. She is a strong advocate for rural tourism. Her accomplishments include:
- Leading African Women in Food Fellowship 2024, African Top Chefs
- State Department Mandela Washington Fellow, University of Nevada at Reno, 2022
- Events & Networking Coordinator, Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Southern Africa Region, Zimbabwe Chapter
- Founder of Stir-Up African Chefs
