The Annual Meeting of the NM Fulbright Association 

Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 pm.

The meeting will be held at UNM’s Mind Research Network Center at 1101 Yale Blvd NE. From Lomas, turn north onto Yale and drive to the end of Yale. After you cross Tucker, the UNM North Golf Course will be on your right. You will pass several buildings on your left. After the Nancy and Pete Domenici buildings, you will see the sign for the Mind Research Network Center. Park in the north parking lot where parking is free on Sundays.

Board member Jenna Kloeppel , accompanied on guitar by her husband Dietger De Maeseneer, will provide musical entertainment to include Maurice Ravel’s “Chanson des cueilleuses de lentisques” from Five Greek Songs (a cappella), Louis Gugliemi’s “La Vie en Rose” (with guitar) and Joseph Kosma’s “Les Feuilles Mortes” (with guitar).

Robb Hirsch will speak about his efforts to build a mass movement for climate action and about his book, Walking Four Directions—A Journey for Regeneration in the Land of Enchantment.

About the author: Robb Young Hirsch is the founder and executive director of the Climate Change Leadership Institute (CCLI) based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His professional focus has been on renewable energy and regenerative agriculture. He is a graduate of Harvard University and a Fulbright Scholar with a master’s degree in geography and sustainability. He worked at the US State Department’s Oceans, Environment and Science Bureau and National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration before completing a 6,000 mile bike ride around the nation calling for climate leadership.
